I wish I had a MacBook with Pro Tools because that would be stellar.
That is all.

I have totally been converted into a James Iha fan. The man is... well, he's like a scaled down Johnny Depp, er, maybe. Idk, but that's the best I can come up with at the moment. I for-seriously can't get enough of him right now.
How can you not adore the man!? (er, I guess that may be the wrong question to ask die-hard Billy Corgan fans :x )

Work it, bb!!!
O hai, and recently I totes saw & met 3/4 of Tinted Windows! Yeah, this just only added fuel to the fire...

It's the old Werthan factory that's in Driving Miss Daisy!
Looks like they've turned into lofts several years ago. Not sure I would want to live in that area of town but the pictures look pretty nifty. Then again it's been over a decade since I've been to that area of town...so much has changed in the Nashville area in the past 8 years alone. What was safe 8 years ago is now a nightmare and what was a nightmare back then is now safe.
I grew up with East Nashville being known for being one of the worst areas in town. Like 10x's worse than Antioch. Now all of these newer folks (those who seemed to have moved here 2002 or later) swear up and down that it's the safest place in town and that everywhere else is bad.
Back prior to 2000, my neighborhood was considered a nice, safe area. Definitely not upper class but it was certainly a respectable area. The high school I went to even had a reputation for being "the tea sippers" back in the day (and after decades that faded out around my junior year). Now we have all kinds of trash in the neighborhood. We're a old neighborhood...most of the people on the street have lived here for decades. My family totes has everyone else beat in time (psh, we've owned this land since the mid 1700's!) but a lot of families have been here since the 1950's. But there are a lot of illegal immigrants (yes, they are, it's a common fact around here) in the neighborhood, which the sad thing is that they start out by targeting each other for crime because they know that they're afraid of getting the police involved. Then from there the crime sprees escalate. Though we have an amazing police force around here! Seriously! There's always a lot of police cars going through here but it's great because they know what's going on, know when something's not right, and they're always close by.

Moonlight Path from Bath & Body Works smells soooooo good!!! I want to slather some of the lotion on my feet right now but I've been barefoot all day and don't feel like washing 'em at the moment.
I've got a heck-of-a-lot of laundry to do... Bummer. Guess I'll get on with that this weekend.
I for really-real want to see the Hannah Montana movie right now!!! Omg, I want to watch it through one time to get the whole vibe and then watch it again and keep count of all of the places I recognize just for the heck of it. Which reminds me, I soooo want to see Driving Miss Daisy (it's been a looooong time since seeing it, and one of the few that I've actually seen in a theater...down in Fayetteville of all places! Good times...yep...good times.). There's a building that's shown in the movie that's really located here in town. I remember seeing it in the movie and then in real life everytime we'd go by there, but I can't remember where the building is exactly.
That also reminds me that while watching the fourth episode in the first season of Perfect Strangers, I saw a Seville!!! I'm always keep an eye out for my car when I watch anything that was filmed around the 80's. I remember the first time I saw Bedazzled (which is not an 80's movie...omg, but I loooooove Brendan Fraser!!!), Brendan's charcater falls out of the sky and lands on the car. The car is shown for almost a split second but I knew it was a Seville like my! Though they set it up so that the car would have a huge dent in the hood, which upset me (omg, here I go again...), but since Harold Ramis, the director, also played one of my major fictional loves a.k.a. Egon Spengler, I couldn't be too upset for long.
And then THAT also reminds me that the new Harry Potter movie comes out this summer. That means Snape (my MAJOR fictional love...and who I was RIGHT about all along!!!!) a.k.a. Rickman (love love looooove!!!!). Oh happiness!!!

Tonight I'm starting my detox tea habit. I have several boxes of Yogi Peach Detox tea...hopefully I can drink at least one cup a night. I think my organs will appreciate it. Yep. Which reminds me, I want to grow a tea garden.
Someone posted a website with free drum lessons. I want to get serious about learning drums. I guess I'll start studying the site thoroughly. I'm also tired of not getting any farther on the guitar. I've been stuck at the same place where I was 7 years ago. I mean, I haven't learned to really play anything new since then. I've picked up on small things since but I'm still not happy with what I can do.
I want to become a distance healer. That would be freakin awesome! "Baby I can heal the pain."

I think one of my biggest peeves has to be the way a lot of people react to folks who are (legally) blind/have visual impairments. Over at ONTD people have a ball with Scott's (American Idol) vision. It's really sickening. I'm just really tired of the stupidity that's out there.
My dad's legally blind. He has Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), he doesn't have any peripheral vision (it's like he has "tunnel" vision). He can't see in the dark and bright lights wash everything out. Recently his vision has become even more fuzzy and foggy than before. He uses a white cane when he's out in public, mostly just a sign for people to move out of the way because he probably won't see them and will walk into them (though he does also depend on it when someone's not there to guide him at the time) because a lot of people remark that he "doesn't look legally blind" since he wears glasses and his eyes look "normal." *head->desk* Stereotypes...
Anyway, when we're out and he's using his cane...instead of moving out of the way, a lot of people have the tendency to go out of their way and into his path and walk right towards him as if they expect him to move out of their way. I...er, it just doesn't make sense!!! I really don't get it! I wish someone out there could explain it to me because...really, why!?!?!
And it's just odd to me o come across people who do not know what a white cane is or what i is used for but for those who may be in this position, here's Wiki's take on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_cane
I also want to point out (since it doesn't seem like something that would cross the mind at the time), do not pet or try to interact with a guide dog while it is "working" and helping it's person. It may create confusion for the dog and in turn could create problems.

Earlier today I came across the Model White Cane Law. Going back to the thing about people moving into my dad's path after they see him with his cane, I think I'm going to print out this Law and hand it to them with #4 highlighted. lol, maybe then they'll get the hint!
"4: Any person or persons, firm or corporation, or the agent of any person or persons, firm or corporation who denies or interferes with admittance to or enjoyment of the public facilities enumerated in section 2 or otherwise interferes with the rights of a totally or partially blind or otherwise disabled person under section 2 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."
